The Talent Development Senior Consultant partners with Talent Development leaders, HR business partners, and business stakeholders to design and deliver modern talent and learning solutions that build capability, support strategic priorities, and improve business outcomes. Successful candidates will bring learning design expertise, business acumen, project leadership, and a curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI, to create engaging learning experiences that grow the capacity and capability of talent.
JOB DESCRIPTION:Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborates with Talent Development leaders and HR business partners to design and curate creative learning programs and pathways to support strategic business priorities.
- Designs learning journeys that include sustainment, manager reinforcement, peer learning, nudges, and practical application to increase behavior change and long-term impact.
- Delivers and facilitates high-quality learning experiences that foster engagement, collaboration, and meaningful learning outcomes.
- Researches and applies modern learning tools, technologies, and AI-enabled solutions to improve learner experiences, accelerate content development, and advance Talent Development priorities.
- Leads project planning and execution for complex, multi-workstream initiatives; manages timelines, risks, stakeholder updates, vendor deliverables, and approved budget parameters.
- Researches and establishes relationships with relevant external vendors, partnering to customize content.
- Designs and implements proactive communication and change management plans to ensure initiatives are well executed.
- Defines success measures at the outset of learning initiatives, analyzes learner, manager, stakeholder, and business outcome data, and uses insights to improve solutions and tell a clear impact story.
- Proactively engages in external research and knowledge sharing to stay current on talent and leadership development trends and best practices and acts as an instructional design expert to key stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities- Strong knowledge of learner experience design, instructional design methods, adult learning and modern blended learning theory and strategies. Expertise and knowledge in contemporary leadership development trends is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of learning technologies, content creation and curation tools and learning modalities. This includes Microsoft Office Suite as well as learning technologies such as Articulate 360, Rise and Vyond.
- Solid business acumen, knowledge of business and client groups, and ability to effectively conduct needs analysis and implement talent and learning strategies to support business goals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to facilitate large groups through the use of group dynamics while encouraging creativity and innovation and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Excellent project management, organizing and planning skills and ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating organizational dynamics.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and make critical business decisions effectively, at times with ambiguous or incomplete information.
Reporting RelationshipAVP, Talent Development
Education and Experience- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of five years of strategic talent development experience.

In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
