This exciting opportunity allows you to work alongside industry leaders, leveraging advanced technologies to support the FDIC's mission of maintaining public confidence in the financial system.

The Network Manager will oversee the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with SLAs. • Manage and optimize SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, and Citrix Netscaler (MPX 9100Z) load balancers for monitoring, security, and traffic distribution.
  • Ensure consistent connectivity by overseeing out-of-band systems and maintaining UPS hardware.
  • Lead a team of network engineers, assigning tasks, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
  • Monitor the network environment, resolve issues proactively, and maintain high uptime to meet or exceed SLA requirements.
  • Prepare and update SLA documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and security policies.
  • Plan and implement network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations, leveraging new technologies to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader experienced in managing complex networks and leading high-performing teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or Aruba certifications (ACMP, ACCA) are highly recommended to showcase advanced technical expertise.
  • The candidate should bring progressive experience in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure, including expertise in LAN/WAN connectivity, routing (Juniper SRX routers), switching (Cisco 9300 and Juniper EX4300-48P), Aruba wireless networks, and load balancers (Citrix Netscaler).
  • Significant hands-on experience with network tools like SolarWinds and Cisco ISE is essential, as is familiarity with ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Leadership experience managing and mentoring network engineering teams and a proven ability to maintain high network uptime and meet SLAs are critical for success in this role.
  • The candidate should also have strong strategic planning skills for network optimization and scalability while staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, excellent organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to write effective technical documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
