Summary
Position: Labware 8 Platform Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Exp.: 10+ Years
Job Description:
Technical Expertise:
Intermediate or Proficient in Labware 8 platform/infrastructure layout (layers of application: DB, Application Servers, J2EE servers, understanding VDI dependencies)
Good understanding of Labware inter-connectivity (DB, App servers, External SAP interfaces etc.)
Good understanding of Labware roles and their location in the system
Experience with Oracle SQL queries can demonstrate practical use in interaction with Labware (troubleshooting, investigating, improving).
Understanding Active Directory concept and how it connects to Labware
Familiar and/or experienced in one or all of the following:
Labware LIMS,
Labware eLN,
Labware Mobile
Experience with Labware components installation, such as:
Labware application servers and prerequisites
Labware modules
Labware packages
Minimum understanding of GxP (Good-Practice) processes and ready to learn its principles.
Optional: understanding LEM and value it might bring to the setup
Optional: LIMS basic skillset allowing to debug code, write a simple code ***
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Labware.
Project Management:
Experience in participating engineering projects from conception to completion.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Capable of presenting his point of view, documenting feedback and adapting ideas to demand.
Collaboration and Communication:
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
Capability to spot potential flaws in design and feedback them to the engineering team.
