For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $142,400 - $213,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Engineering Manager - ASCO PCS ModernizationThis person will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project engineering scope related to the Brownfield Modernization of Power Control Systems.
Key duties include ensuring financial objectives are met, driving the PCS (Power Control Systems) Modernization strategy, talent management, resolving day-to-day operational issues and promoting teamwork amongst internal and external customers. This person will also be responsible for promoting the highest level of safety awareness and ensure compliance by direct reports.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 12+ engineers (Electrical, Controls, and Mechanical) to support PCS Modernization.
Modernization project execution
- Interview, hire, mentor and motivate the team members.
- Facilitate development and training of engineering personnel, including setting and monitoring of individual goals.
- Manage the implementation of all assigned projects with a commitment to quality, professionalism, timely responsiveness, and within the estimated hours as quoted.
- Evaluate and update project engineering procedures and standards as necessary.
- Support the production operation with build, wire, and test of PCS solutions in compliance with customer requirements, specifications and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal/external customers with regards to technical aspects, promised delivery times, delivery time adjustments to minimize production interruptions.
- Stay abreast of new development/releases of technology and apply to projects, processes as necessary.
- Contribute to engineering and overall services group strategic planning.
- Work closely with the procurement, production, quality and Field operations on project and process improvements
- Assist sales and quotations personnel with project feasibility and cost estimates to develop a customer base through superior service and technical expertise.
This job might be for you if you have:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical or Controls engineering or related field desired along with supervisory experience.
- Experience with LV/MV Paralleling Switchgear, Power Automation, SCADA or Power Control Systems.
- Experience as a direct people manager.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Strong background with Project Engineering processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills; be self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities concurrently.
