Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for an
Aegis Missile Software Engineer who will participate on a team of talented and mission-oriented professionals, including federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers, and contractor staff, willing to roll up their sleeves and deliver missile defense capability to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
Responsibilities - Take responsibility for SM-3 Block IIA Missile Communications support for Radio Frequency missile communications components.
- Provide operational and technical support to integrate existing and developing operational command and control systems.
- Develop and document system architectures and functions in applicable Interface Control Documents, specifically the GFC/C to Link-16 interface document.
- Provide performance assessment and verification (PAV) support to the Systems Engineer for the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office.
- Develop PAV processes and plans. Monitor and implement plans to assess and verify system performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired: - Bachelors Degree (STEM)
- 7+ years of experience working on DOD or missile defense software programs
- Active Secret security clearance
Desired Skills You'll Bring: - Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
- Experience with Missile System Software Development
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Work independently as a team member or lead teams/tasks
- Possess the ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Provide programmatic oversight of SM-3 Blk IIA Missile. Deliver communications, components, development, and integration services within the Guidance Section (GS) and Kinetic Warhead (KW)
