Summary
- Administer and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP/LTM, including Virtual Servers, Pools, Health Monitors, iRules, SNAT, SSL offloading, and load balancing.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto NGFW, including security policies, NAT, VPN, App-ID, URL filtering, threat prevention, and SSL decryption.
- Manage Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall administration.
- Monitor firewall, F5, network, and security logs for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and anomalous network traffic.
- Work with SOC teams on SIEM monitoring, threat investigation, incident response, and remediation.
- Perform security event analysis, log correlation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify and escalate potential security breaches, vulnerabilities, and policy violations.
- Support firewall rule reviews, security policy optimization, and network security hardening.
- Troubleshoot complex network and application connectivity issues.
- Perform F5/Palo Alto upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and maintenance.
- Support network segmentation, routing, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and enterprise security architecture.
- Collaborate with SOC, Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.
- 5+ years of Network Security/Network Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP/LTM.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall/PAN-OS.
- Experience with Panorama; F5 ASM/AWAF is preferred.
- Experience with SIEM/security monitoring and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, VPN, routing, VLANs, and network security.
- Experience troubleshooting production environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
