• Senior Integrations / Rhapsody Developer to support public health, lab, and disease surveillance systems

• Serve as technical lead for the AMD/WGS project

• Responsible for integrations, automation, ETL, data exchange, and system reliability

• Work under limited supervision and collaborate with DPH staff, vendors, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Act as IT lead managing project work, communication, and customer expectations

• Gather requirements and perform gap analysis with end users

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy Rhapsody integrations

• Create and maintain Rhapsody routes and configurations

• Perform process development, automation, and ETL solutions

• Develop advanced SQL queries and validate data

• Handle data transformations (XML, CSV, SOAP, HL7, etc.)

• Develop and consume web services

• Monitor routes and production data flow

• Debug, troubleshoot, reprocess errors, and optimize performance

• Support upgrades, migrations, and new environment configurations

• Ensure system uptime, compliance, and business continuity

• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members

• Support onboarding of providers and partners (ELR, ETOR, eCR, data sharing)

• Maintain system documentation and architecture diagrams

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (HIPAA, CDC, CJIS)

Required Skills (Ranked)

• 5+ years Rhapsody Integration Engine (v6+)

• 5+ years Symphonia Mapping Language (SML)

• 5+ years HL7 (v2.3.1 2.5.1, ORU & ORM message types)

• 5+ years JavaScript

• 3+ years Advanced SQL (joins, queries)

• 2+ years XML / XSD / XPath

• 2+ years SOAP Web Services

Preferred Skills

• Windows Server Administration

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in a relevant field

• OR equivalent professional experience
