Summary

Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Performing powertrain function analysis and function decomposition
  • Requirement elicitation activities from system to SW and traceability over V-cycle
  • Propulsion system high level functional requirement artifact creation in IBM DOORS/IBM DOORS
  • Next Gen (DNG) including attribute classifications
  • Propulsion System Operating Modes Identification, Analysis and Documentation in DNG
  • Propulsion System energy conversion, storage and delivery understanding and requirement
  • development considering standards and OBD complaince
  • Participate in the Agile Methodology to plan product backlog and identify potential risks
  • Develop simulation/virtual models for specific propulsion features/functions using MATLAB,
  • SysML Rhapsody

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering other related
  • Engineering degree
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in conventional and hybrid powertrain development
  • Good understanding on overall vehicle dynamics and vehicle system functioning
  • Good understanding automotive powertrain architecture
  • Proficient in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS Next Gen etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Vector Tools for data collection
  • Vehicle Validation or Powertrain Calibration experience
  • Familiarity with Agile project management
  • Experience with overall vehicle development cycle and Change management process
  • Good communication skills, able to lead meeting with cross functional team
