Job Title: Senior AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong hands-on coding experience in Python, PySpark, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new features within our existing data engineering framework using PySpark and Python. This role requires expertise in data transformation, problem-solving, and the ability to build standalone scripts based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and implement new features in the existing data engineering framework using Python and PySpark.

·         Develop efficient, scalable, and reusable standalone PySpark scripts to perform data transformations based on defined business logic.

·         Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build robust and maintainable solutions.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·         Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code and reliable performance.

·         Optimize existing code and data processing workflows for improved efficiency.

·         Document technical designs, coding standards, and implementation procedures for future maintenance and troubleshooting.

·         Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.

Required Skills

·         Strong hands-on experience with Python.

·         Expertise in PySpark and large-scale data processing.

·         Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

·         Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·         Experience with AWS services is preferred.
