Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role is critical to advancing our digital transformation initiatives by aligning business goals with scalable, cloud-based SAP architectures.

Reporting to the Application Development Manager, the architect will define technical strategy, lead solution design, and mentor teams while ensuring best practices across SAP cloud development, integration, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP aligned with enterprise IT and business strategies
• Develop reference architectures and solution blueprints for extensions, integrations, analytics, and data management
• Define high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery architectures, including multi-region deployments
• Lead technical workstreams and mentor development teams on SAP BTP capabilities
• Promote best practices across DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and SAP cloud development
• Integrate SAP systems (including S/4HANA) with external platforms using APIs, middleware, and SAP Cloud Connector
• Develop and enhance ABAP objects, CAPM applications, CDS views, and Fiori Elements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs
• Lead SAP BTP project planning, estimation, and cost analysis

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall development experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP experience
  • 5+ years of ABAP development (preferred)
  • Proven experience leading SAP projects and cloud transformation initiatives
• Certification:
  • SAP Certified Professional – Solution Architect – SAP BTP (Required)

• CAPM, CDS Views
• ABAP, Node.js, Java/JavaScript, Python
• SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
• Microservices architecture
• Containerization and Kubernetes
• DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud extensions and Clean Core principles
• Knowledge of AI/ML services on SAP BTP
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Consulting or client-facing experience
