Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration & Integration Lead to support a Siebel / Java-to-IEEW SaaS transformation. The role involves analyzing legacy applications, defining data architecture, developing source-to-target mappings, designing migration and integration processes, and ensuring data quality and reconciliation throughout the migration lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements & Legacy Analysis
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Reverse-engineer existing application logic.
- Assess upstream and downstream system impacts.
Data Architecture & Mapping
- Develop and maintain source-to-target data mappings.
- Define entity relationships and master/reference data rules.
- Maintain field-level data lineage.
Data Migration & Interface Design
- Define full and incremental (delta) data loads.
- Establish migration sequencing and ETL/API dependencies.
- Plan mock migrations, recovery procedures, and cutover execution.
Data Quality & Reconciliation
- Perform SQL-based data profiling and validation.
- Establish control totals and business-rule validation.
- Investigate data exceptions and perform root-cause analysis.
Technical Delivery & Coordination
- Maintain data mappings, migration runbooks, and test evidence.
- Coordinate migration readiness with business SMEs, middleware teams, and Syncron.
- Support migration testing and ensure successful delivery.

Required Technical Skills

Advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Relational Data Modeling
ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) and Kettle ETL
REST APIs and JSON/XML
SFTP, Database Links, and Middleware
Data Lake Lineage
Data Migration Testing
Data Reconciliation and Validation Controls
