Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
● Extensive experience conducting quantitative UX research in applied product environments, with a strong track record of segmentation and persona development.
● Expertise in survey methodology, including construct/scale selection, sampling and weighting, questionnaire design, and pre‑testing for reliability and bias.
● Strong command of multivariate analysis, regression modeling, and repeated‑measures/longitudinal designs used to evaluate change over time.
● Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis; comfort with SQL for structured data extraction.
● Ability to independently translate ambiguous product or design questions into structured study plans, analytic approaches, and clear, actionable insights.
● Familiarity with Qualtrics (survey programming, branching logic, quality controls) and Glassbox (behavioral journey insights used to enrich segmentation and study targeting).
● Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor narratives to Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Data Scientists.
Desired:
● Experience applying segmentation insights directly to information architecture, workflow design, and experimentation strategies.
● Ability to triangulate attitudinal, behavioral, and session‑level data to validate segments and uncover drivers of experience.
● Background working in highly regulated, data‑dense environments—ideally financial services, analytics platforms, or high‑stakes B2B tools.
● Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize in ambiguous spaces, and influence senior stakeholders through evidence and clarity.
● Experience using generative AI tools and techniques in research, including automated data synthesis, natural language summarization, and predictive modeling.
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher who can bring analytical rigor, segmentation expertise, and methodological leadership to complex financial products that span both B2B institutional workflows and B2C retail finance experiences. This role requires someone who can balance the distinct behaviors, expectations, and decision environments across these audiences and design research that effectively supports both.
The Senior Quantitative UX Researcher will help shape and mature our quantitative research practice across business lines by establishing scalable approaches, elevating analytic standards, and modeling best-in-class quant methods that advance product strategy across the broader financial ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Lead segmentation and persona development grounded in quantitative evidence, surfacing meaningful user groups that inform product strategy, workflows, and IA decisions.
Design and execute structured studies (surveys, experiments, card sorts, structural evaluations) with rigor in sampling, instrument design, and bias mitigation.
Establish measurement frameworks for controlled studies, defining constructs, scales, success metrics, and guardrails aligned to product questions.
Analyze drivers of experience and outcomes across segments, using multivariate analysis and regression modeling to isolate effects and prioritize opportunities.
Support experimentation and longitudinal research, applying repeated‑measures or within‑subject designs when appropriate and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Influence cross‑functional partners with clear, decision‑ready narratives that connect analytical findings to product implications in technical, high‑complexity domains.
