Role Overview
Warranty Engineer role with a focus on chassis systems (brakes, suspension, wheels/tires)
Some exposure to related electrical modules such as steering gears and brake system modules
Position is local and onsite; candidates must be local or willing to relocate
What We’re Looking For
- Prior automotive experience is required
- OEM, warranty, quality, or supplier experience preferred
- Candidates must understand how vehicle systems and components work together
- Chassis knowledge and hands‑on technical exposure are important
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to review warranty claims and determine root cause (manufacturing, supplier, or design)
- Logical thinking skills
- Comfort working with light logic or rule‑based tools used to automate claim analysis
- Comfort using data tools and AI‑assisted analysis is strongly preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- This role involves warranty discussions that can be high pressure
- Structured problem‑solving experience or certifications (Six Sigma, etc.) are a plus
- Internships are acceptable if they involved meaningful, hands‑on automotive or engineering work
