Job Title: Manager - International Third-Party Measurement
 Location: New York, NY 10036

 Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: 9am to 6pm
 
Responsibilities:

Ad Hoc Analytics & Insights:
 
  • Independently lead complex ad hoc analyses for stakeholders across international markets, using third-party datasets to answer business-critical questions.
  • Delivery of complex ad hoc requests — scoping the business question, extracting and analyzing data, and presenting findings and recommendations in a clear way.
  • Build reports and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and help standardize opportunities to automate recurring analytical requests, partnering with the data infrastructure team where needed.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reporting across all international markets to keep internal stakeholders informed of the latest trends and developments.
  • Vendor & JIC Relationship Support:
  • Build methodology expertise to support our market-specific measurement relationships.
  • Prepare briefing materials, data analysis, and talking points ahead of conversations with Joint Industry Committees (JICs) and commercial measurement vendors.
  • Analyze and assess the measurement methodology of new and existing third-party sources, including panel design, data collection approach, relevance, reliability and cost, to inform recommendations on which measurement solutions to pursue.
  • Track data discrepancies between first party and third party and help resolve open measurement issues (e.g. attribution gaps, partner-platform crediting) in partnership with vendors and JICs.
  • Handle the financial administration of vendor relationships, including setting up vendor/customer profiles in the finance system, issuing purchase orders (POs), and managing invoicing-related communication with vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
  • Understanding of (or strong interest in developing expertise in) audience measurement methodology and how measurement providers and models differ across markets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, etc.
  • Working proficiency in SQL for data extraction; Python or R is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in computer or data science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for varied audiences and engage confidently with external stakeholders (vendors, industry bodies) as well as internal ones.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge and curiosity about TV content and the entertainment industry.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
