Data Scientist

Introduction:

This position is for a Data Scientist who will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing their quantitative analytics expertise to drive data-driven decision-making. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models, conducting statistical analysis, and working with various cloud platforms to extract valuable insights from data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Vertex AI
• Utilize expertise in GenAI, Agentic workflow, and statistical analysis to drive successful deployment at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Work on projects within the financial services industry, with a focus on Commercial Banking
• Ensure compliance with regulatory considerations in AI model deployment
• Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner
• Design and develop LLM guardrails, assertions, controls, and performance monitoring for data science projects

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Vertex AI, Google ADK, MCP
• Strong background in GenAI, Agentic workflow, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis
• Experience in the financial services industry, Commercial Banking a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in AI model deployment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Hands-on experience with ADK, MCP, A2A, O2A, LLM evaluation framework
