Overview

This role involves designing and implementing SailPoint connectors and integrations for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, focusing on JML automation and lifecycle management. The position requires minimal travel, with onsite presence once per quarter, and offers a contract duration from 03/02/2026 to 03/02/2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration engineering, including building and maintaining attribute mappings, transformations, and correlation logic for digital identities and entitlements.
• Engineering HR-driven provisioning to downstream directories and applications such as AD/Azure AD using JML events.
• Implementing delta/near-real-time feeds, handling edge cases, and ensuring resiliency and replay strategies.
• Building identity data exports from SailPoint to legacy IGA systems.
• Translating HR events into SailPoint lifecycle events, workflows, and policies.
• Implementing roles, entitlements, policy violations, SOD checks, and certification campaigns driven by HR attributes.
• Developing detection and remediation for orphaned accounts, rehire rules, and multi-contract scenarios within SuccessFactors.
• Defining and enforcing authoritative source logic, identity uniqueness rules, and account correlation rules.
• Building validation, reconciliation, and exception handling to minimize manual remediation.
• Instrumenting monitoring dashboards, alerts, audit trails, and defining operational SLIs/SLOs.
• Participating in PI Planning, backlog refinement, story slicing, and cross-team coordination within SAFe/Agile frameworks.
• Administering, monitoring, and optimizing the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, troubleshooting production incidents, and maintaining environment parity.
• Leading onboarding of applications to IIQ, including integration design, schema mapping, and access modeling.
• Implementing and tuning provisioning connectors for various enterprise applications.
• Building and maintaining JML processes, automated birthright access, and RBAC.
• Creating certification campaigns and policy controls, including SoD and toxic combinations.

Required Skills

• 4–7+ years of IAM engineering experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow.
• Hands-on integration experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central using Compound Employee and/or OData.
• Strong understanding of HR data models and handling scenarios such as rehire, LOA, contingent workers, and concurrent employment.
• Proficiency with JML automation, correlation rules, and provisioning to AD/Azure AD and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Java, BeanShell, Groovy, PowerShell, and/or Python for development and transformations.
• Experience working in SAFe/Scaled Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of directory services (LDAP), SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, REST, and event/webhook patterns.
• Troubleshooting skills across identity data pipelines, logs, API errors, and connector behaviors.

Preferred Skills

• SailPoint certifications.
• Experience delivering HR-driven provisioning with SuccessFactors at enterprise scale (>10k identities).
• Exposure to SAP IAS/IDP, BTP, and downstream SAP provisioning patterns.
• Knowledge of SoD frameworks, GRC integrations, and audit/regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD for IAM (Git, pipelines), config as code, and environment promotion strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
