Job Title: Control Engineer
Job Type: Onsite - Indianapolis, IN
Job Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Perform process mapping and optimization on existing controls schema
Develop custom machine control system changes (process improvement, restructuring control software, etc.)
Prepare process flow diagrams, schematics, and other project documentation
Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate designs
Collaborate with external vendors to identify, evaluate, and integrate their hardware and technologies into Corteva processes
Assist in installation and validation of equipment into service
Skills / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required and at least 5 years of experience in industrial PLC control and automation systems integration in industry. Background in manufacturing is desired
Experience with control system design and fabrication, including programming of PLCs from scratch, and experience with SCADA systems integration (Inductive Ignition experience is highly desired)
Experience with structured coding (Python preferred) and Ignition HMI
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
Knowledge and experience relative to safety and health
