Senior AI Solutions Engineer

(Full-Time, Hybrid 3 days onsite (Mon-Wed onsite)

Position Overview

This role operates within small, high-performing teams using AI as the core delivery model not a support tool. Responsible for designing and delivering AI-driven solutions in a regulated Life, Annuity & Health insurance environment, this position emphasizes autonomy, speed, and innovation within HIPAA, SOC 2, and regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver AI-native solutions and near-autonomous delivery pipelines across the full SDLC
Build self-monitoring, self-healing systems with strong audit and compliance controls
Leverage AI agents for code generation, testing, deployment, and operational automation
Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, including secure integrations with internal and external systems
Own end-to-end delivery within a business domain, aligning technical outcomes to business value
Collaborate with platform, DevOps, QA, and security teams while maintaining governance alignment
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and insurance regulatory requirements
Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools and practices

Expectations

Drive automation, system resilience, and delivery efficiency
Make key technical and architectural decisions within the domain
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability growth
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
4 7 years of software engineering experience, including AI-driven development
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools Claude, Cursor, and Codex
Strong cloud architecture experience in AWS
Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, C#, Java, etc.)
Experience with APIs, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Knowledge of security standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, small teams
