Job Description – Project Manager – Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure to plan, execute, and deliver IT infrastructure projects within scope, budget, and timelines. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills and experience working with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and IT operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and application teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal technical teams.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure successful implementation, testing, and transition of infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure projects follow organizational processes, standards, and governance requirements.
• Manage change requests and ensure appropriate approvals.
• Support post-implementation reviews and project closure activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in IT Infrastructure Project Management.
• Good understanding of Servers, Storage, Networks, Data Centers, Cloud, and IT Security.
• Experience managing infrastructure migration, upgrade, implementation, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with budget, resource, vendor, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform projects is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Strong experience in stakeholder and senior-management communication.
