Your role

Mission - Develop long-term strategic partnerships with assigned key customers to increase customer share, drive sustainable business growth, and position Atlas Copco as the preferred provider of compressed air, vacuum, service, digital, and energy efficiency solutions across all customer locations.

Roles & Responsibilities -
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive Strategic Account Plans for assigned customers, including customer objectives, stakeholder mapping, competitive assessments, growth strategies, customer share targets, and multi-year opportunity roadmaps. Drive account planning discipline and ensure strategies are aligned with customer priorities and Atlas Copco growth objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, procurement teams, engineering groups, operations leaders, maintenance teams, and other key decision makers within assigned Strategic Accounts.
  • Own the Compressor Service Optimization (CSO) strategic relationship for assigned accounts and serve as the single point of accountability for customer growth, executive engagement, cross-divisional alignment, and long-term customer success.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned customer share, revenue, profitability, and ServicePlan growth targets by promoting opportunities through the complete Atlas Copco ServicePlan Ladder, including service contracts, parts, equipment upgrades, digital solutions, energy efficiency initiatives, air treatment, controls, monitoring solutions, energy conversation and aftermarket services.
  • Identify and drive multi-site opportunities by promoting standardized solutions, service programs, and reliability initiatives.
  • Lead account strategy coordination across Atlas Copco business areas, including AII, AIF, CTS, AGG, and local sales organizations.
  • Actively engage in prospecting, account development, and relationship-building activities designed to increase customer share and create new business opportunities within assigned Strategic Accounts.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts for assigned accounts. Monitor key opportunities, customer initiatives, competitive threats, and growth projects while communicating progress and risks to management on a regular basis.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare, deliver, and present executive business reviews, account plans, sales presentations, proposals, and strategic recommendations. Represent Atlas Copco at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Assist in the development of quotations, proposals, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, service agreements, credit terms, and the review of commercial terms and conditions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed customer records, opportunity tracking, account plans, contact strategies, and business activities within company CRM (C4C) systems and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrate leadership by promoting Atlas Copco's core values of Commitment, Interaction, and Innovation, while supporting the company's vision of being First in Mind, First in Choice.
  • Take action as necessary to strengthen customer partnerships, increase customer satisfaction and remove barriers to growth.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
To succeed, you will need

Experience - 3-5 years of relevant technical, industrial sales experience a must, preferably in the compressed air industry.

Education - Four-year degree in business, marketing, engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills - Must be a self-directed team player, who has a positive attitude, can motivate those around them, and is service oriented. Must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills at all levels up to senior business leadership. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point, experience in SAP applications would be an advantage. Some travel to support field sales activities will be required.
