GitHub DevOps Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite Only)
Duration: 6+ months
Core Skills
GitHub Enterprise (GHES) administration
GitHub Actions (CI/CD), reusable workflows
Self-hosted runners (setup, autoscaling, security)
Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Rancher)
Docker, Terraform, Ansible
Programming: Python, Java (Node.js required; .NET/Go nice to have)
GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS)
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Administer GitHub Enterprise, including workflows, apps, and security tooling
Build and manage self-hosted runners and execution environments
Manage Kubernetes clusters (deployment, monitoring, scaling, optimization)
Automate workflows using scripting, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and infrastructure-as-code tools
Handle GHES upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, and performance optimization
Requirements
Strong experience with builds & deployments across Java, Node.js, Python
Expertise in SDLC, SCM (Git), DevOps & DevSecOps practices
Experience with microservices architecture
Hands-on with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform/GitHub Cloud)
