Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake DBT Developer with a strong background in data engineering, enterprise data platforms, and Life Sciences domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, Apache Airflow, and StreamSets, leading data platform modernization and large-scale migration programs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms, including multi-layered architecture and workload optimization.
Lead data migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza) to Snowflake.
Develop multi-source ingestion frameworks for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using StreamSets and Snowpipe.
Architect and govern DBT transformation layers (staging, intermediate, marts) with incremental models and advanced testing frameworks.
Orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow and establish CI/CD pipelines for DBT and Snowflake deployments.
Design dimensional and Data Vault models aligned with Life Sciences data domains.
Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA/GDPR, and ALCOA+ standards.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Enterprise Data Platforms.
4–6+ years of hands-on Snowflake implementation experience.
Proven expertise in:
- Large-scale data migration programs
- Multi-source data ingestion frameworks
- DBT advanced transformation design
- Apache Airflow orchestration
- StreamSets ingestion pipelines
- Advanced SQL development
Experience in Life Sciences domain projects.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
