Summary

We''re looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about software quality, automation, and continuous improvement to support our client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and maintaining automation frameworks, collaborating with Agile teams, and ensuring enterprise applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and production-ready.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong hands-on automation experience using UFT (Unified Functional Testing), Azure DevOps, and automation frameworks.
  • Manual testing expertise to complement automation efforts.
  • Experience testing large-scale enterprise applications with complex integrations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain UI, API, backend, database, regression, performance, security, accessibility (ADA/508), mobile, and cross-browser automated tests.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, Agile teams, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of enterprise technologies such as .NET, SQL, SharePoint, Salesforce, REST/SOAP APIs, SOAPUI, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with developers, Product Owners, business users, and operations teams to define acceptance criteria and improve overall quality.
  • Someone who is proactive, organized, self-directed, and able to work independently while providing technical leadership around QA best practices.

  • Continued compliance with Federal CCWIS requirements.
  • Ongoing support for outcomes and regulatory reporting.
  • Safe deployment of enhancements through robust automated testing and quality assurance.
  • Continuous improvement of testing processes and modernization of the agency''s QA capabilities.

The strongest candidate will have experience with:

  • Enterprise government or highly regulated environments (healthcare, child welfare, human services, financial services, etc.).
  • Large-scale Agile development projects.
  • End-to-end automation framework development and maintenance.
  • Azure DevOps and UFT as primary testing tools.
  • Both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
