Summary

SAP IS-U Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Finance / Customer Processes

Location: 100% Remote
Working Hours: US Eastern or Central Time
Rate: $100–$110/hour (subject to confirmation)
Engagement: Contract details to be confirmed

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U (SAP for Utilities) Subject Matter Expert with strong hands-on experience in utility business processes.

We are interested in candidates specializing in either Finance-related or Customer-related SAP IS-U processes.

Key Skills

  • Strong hands-on SAP IS-U / SAP Utilities experience
  • Functional expertise in utility business processes
  • Experience with implementation, enhancements, or production support
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and resolve functional issues
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams

Finance-related expertise

  • SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable)
  • Utility billing and invoicing
  • Payments, collections, and financial integration

Customer-related expertise

  • Customer account and business partner management
  • Utility customer service processes
  • Customer lifecycle processes, including move-in/move-out, where applicable

Work Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely during US EST/CST business hours
  • Strong functional knowledge and hands-on project experience
  • Ability to work independently as a subject matter expert
