Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Receivables (AR) / PPM Lead Consultant to join a growing Oracle Cloud practice. This role is ideal for a senior Oracle Cloud professional with strong functional leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale implementations within Public Sector environments.
The consultant will lead Oracle Cloud Financials engagements with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, driving successful end-to-end implementations, stakeholder engagement, solution design, and production deployment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business process knowledge, hands-on Oracle Cloud configuration expertise, and the ability to guide clients through complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud AR and PPM implementations as a Functional Lead
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud Receivables and PPM modules
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions
- Configure Oracle Cloud applications based on client business needs
- Identify functional gaps and recommend extensions or workaround solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams on:
- Reports
- Interfaces
- Data conversions
- Integrations
- Application extensions
- Develop and maintain:
- Functional design documents
- Business requirement documents (BRDs)
- Configuration documentation
- Test scripts and validation scenarios
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
- Lead migration activities for configurations, integrations, and extensions
- Communicate project risks, status updates, and milestone progress to stakeholders
- Drive issue resolution and ensure timely delivery of project tasks
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to implementation best practices
- Work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Functional Lead
- Proven experience leading:
- Oracle Cloud Receivables (AR)
- Oracle Cloud PPM implementations
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials architecture and integrations
- Public Sector implementation experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Oracle Cloud certifications strongly preferred
- Strong client-facing consulting and communication skills
- Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Experience conducting client meetings and workshops in virtual/on-site environments
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must currently reside in the United States
- Ability to travel to client locations during key project milestones
