Role Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and experience with specialized engineering tools. This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis of concrete and steel structures using finite element methods.
  • Conduct seismic structural analyses for nuclear-related applications.
  • Work with applicable industry codes and standards including:
  • ASCE 43
  • ASCE 4
  • ACI 349 & 318
  • ASCE 7
  • IBC
  • AISC N690
  • Steel Construction Manual
  • Seismic Design Manual

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in ANSYS APDL (Required)
  • Civil engineering experience (Required)
  • Strong experience in seismic structural analysis
  • Experience in analysis and design of concrete, steel, and composite structures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AISC / N690
  • Programming skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python) preferred but not required
  • P.E. (U.S.) or P.Eng. (Canada) certification preferred
