Summary

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer to join our team for a critical modernization project. You will play a pivotal role in transitioning our flagship cloud-hosted (OCI) application, BADGE, from its current desktop version to a modern, web-based platform.

This role requires a developer who can bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern web architecture. You will work closely with lead developers to analyze existing desktop code and successfully migrate functionality to a high-performing web environment.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem and a proven track record in full-stack web development.

Required Expertise:

Core .NET: 4+ years of advanced experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and VB.NET.
Web Technologies: 4+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
Validation: Proficiency in jQuery Unobtrusive Validation.
Legacy Integration: 2+ years of experience with WinForms or WPF Forms (essential for the migration process).
Database Management: 4+ years of experience with RDBMS and complex SQL; Oracle and PL/SQL experience is highly preferred.
Version Control: 4+ years of experience with TFS and/or GIT.

Desired Skills:

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret existing code within desktop applications.
Design and develop responsive web services and applications using Visual Studio .NET.
Collaborate with lead developers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless migration to the OCI cloud.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support application data needs.
