Join a manufacturing team where your hands-on expertise keeps essential equipment running at its best. This permanent Service Technician opportunity is ideal for a skilled problem-solver who enjoys diagnosing complex issues, delivering lasting repairs, and making a measurable impact on production reliability.
You'll work across mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and pneumatic systems, supporting safe operations and minimizing downtime through responsive service and proactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and pneumatic equipment issues in a manufacturing environment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Service, repair, adjust, and replace equipment components using appropriate tools, testing instruments, and technical procedures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and service documentation.
Identify the root causes of recurring failures and recommend practical improvements.
Test repaired equipment to verify safe operation, performance, and readiness for production.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to prioritize service needs and resolve equipment problems efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, troubleshooting findings, repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and applicable electrical safety practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on service, repair, or maintenance experience in manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience with hydronics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair, or equivalent technical skills.
Strong ability to diagnose equipment failures and complete effective repairs with minimal supervision.
Proficiency using diagnostic instruments, hand tools, and power tools appropriate for industrial maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and equipment reliability.
Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Technical training, an apprenticeship, or relevant trade certification is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
