• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration tools 
• Strong understanding of SAP BP, MM, and FI integration 
• Expertise in data reconciliation, validation, and cutover planning
 
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Migration Specialist with deep functional and technical expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will have led multiple Greenfield SAP implementations, owning end to end data migration strategy, execution, and data quality assurance across complex enterprise landscapes. This role requires strong collaboration with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data migration to SAP S/4HANA.
 
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Strategy & Governance
• Define and drive end-to-end data migration strategy for Greenfield SAP implementations.
• Lead data migration design covering master data, transactional data, and open balances for O2C and P2P.
• Establish data migration governance, standards, templates, and best practices.
• Own data migration planning, sequencing, cutover approach, and mock load cycles.
O2C & P2P Functional Data Expertise
• Lead data migration activities related to: 
o O2C: Business Partners (Customers), Credit Management, Pricing, Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing Documents, AR open items
o P2P: Business Partners (Vendors), Materials/Services, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists, Open POs, GR/IR, AP open items
• Work closely with functional leads (SD, MM, FI) to validate business rules and reconciliation requirements.
• Ensure data readiness for downstream processes such as Finance, Logistics, and Reporting.
Greenfield Implementation Experience
• Actively participate in Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations from Explore to Deploy phases.
• Support business blueprinting by aligning data objects with new target-state processes.
• Identify and resolve data gaps arising from legacy to target process transformations.
• Drive data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and harmonization for Greenfield programs.
Technical Execution
• Design and execute data migration using tools such as: 
o SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/Fiori Migration Object Modeler)
o SAP BODS / ETL tools
o LSMW / Custom programs (as applicable)
• Define data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) logic.
• Perform reconciliation between legacy and SAP, ensuring financial and transactional accuracy.
• Manage error handling, defect resolution, and performance tuning during loads.
Data Quality & Validation
• Define data validation rules, control totals, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data quality, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Support business users during data validation, UAT, and cutover cycles.
• Prepare and execute go live and post go live data reconciliation activities.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
• Act as the primary Data Migration SME for O2C and P2P streams.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.
• Mentor junior data migration resources and offshore teams.
• Provide regular status reporting, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
•  Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience with onsite/offshore teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
 
Base  Salary Range : $140,000 to $160,000 Per Annum
