Job Description:

The SAP S/4HANA Test Specialist will lead quality assurance initiatives across SAP programs, ensuring high-quality delivery through robust testing practices, automation strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role involves mentoring QA teams, driving process improvements, and supporting UAT with comprehensive documentation and metrics-driven reporting.

Responsibilities:

Proactively ensure delivered solutions meet high quality standards through rigorous testing practices.
Define and enforce QA standards and best practices to minimize production defects.
Lead and mentor geographically distributed onshore and offshore QA teams.
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the QA function.
Design and execute a scalable test automation roadmap without increasing headcount.
Oversee creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Design, develop, and maintain detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Review test cases created by team members for alignment with business and functional requirements.
Execute test cases, analyze results, and identify quality issues.
Thoroughly document test scenarios, steps, results, and outcomes.
Present test results to UAT teams to build confidence in testing coverage and quality.
Reduce UAT re-testing through comprehensive QA validation.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
Define and track QA metrics including defect density, test coverage, and automation progress.
Provide regular and monthly QA status, quality, and defect reports to stakeholders.

Requirement/Must Have:

Ten or more years of SAP QA Lead or Manager experience.
Strong experience with SAP FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL modules.
Proficiency with SAP TOSCA Automation Tool.
Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
Ability to create, analyze, maintain, and fix automated and manual test cases independently.
Minimum two years of Business Analysis or Quality Analyst experience in the Property and Casualty insurance domain.
Experience supporting application maintenance, enhancements, and production support.
Knowledge of SAP BAPI and RFC integrations.
Experience integrating SAP with upstream systems such as Guidewire or similar platforms.
Experience using SAP ChaRM for release management and coordination with SAP BASIS teams.

Skills:

SAP S/4HANA testing and quality assurance.
Test automation strategy and execution.
Defect management and root cause analysis.
QA metrics, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Cross-functional collaboration across SAP teams.

Experience:

Extensive experience leading SAP QA initiatives across complex enterprise environments.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
