Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise applications.
- Implement event-driven services and backend integrations while ensuring application scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and optimize database models, queries, and data access components for reliable backend processing.
- Perform unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum activities, and maintain technical documentation.

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6+ years of experience in Java application development, including Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, backend development, database integration, and enterprise software delivery.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Microservices, Git, JUnit, Mockito
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience supporting enterprise application environments, including business-critical backend services, operational workflows, data processing, and customer-facing or internal business applications.
- Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration and event-driven business processes, including reliable data exchange between backend services, business applications, and user-facing systems.
- Experience collaborating with business and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable backend services, resolve application integration issues, and support secure, reliable, and high-performance enterprise solutions.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
