Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Engineer to support growth initiatives for Starlink, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and analytics systems. You will work closely with growth, product, and analytics teams to enable data-driven decision-making across customer acquisition, retention, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for growth analytics
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data from multiple sources
• Partner with growth and product teams to define data requirements and metrics
• Build and optimize data models for reporting and experimentation
• Enable A/B testing frameworks and experimentation infrastructure
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across systems
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
• Support dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (batch and/or streaming)
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.)
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
• Understanding of APIs and data ingestion techniques
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)

Growth & Analytics Focus

• Experience supporting marketing, growth, or product analytics use cases
• Familiarity with metrics like CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and funnel analysis
• Experience with experimentation (A/B testing frameworks and analysis)
• Ability to work with large-scale user and behavioral datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Knowledge of geospatial or telecom-related data (nice to have)
• Exposure to machine learning data pipelines
