Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Configurator/Developer to support a large-scale digital commerce transformation initiative for a leading enterprise client. This consultant will work alongside cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Solution Architects, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and Engineering Leads to deliver scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on development expertise within SFCC, a solid understanding of eCommerce best practices, and experience implementing complex integrations and customer-facing digital experiences in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, and deploy Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) solutions.
- Customize storefront functionality using SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and Salesforce Commerce APIs.
- Build and maintain cartridges, controllers, pipelines, jobs, and integrations within SFCC.
- Develop responsive and scalable customer experiences across product catalog, search, checkout, promotions, and customer account functionality.
- Configure and manage Business Manager settings including catalogs, inventory, promotions, search, content assets, and customer groups.
- Integrate SFCC with third-party systems including:
- Payment gateways
- ERP platforms
- OMS solutions
- CRM systems
- Tax and shipping providers
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design workshops, solution architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while adhering to SLAs and operational best practices.
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce application development.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) experience.

- Experience integrating SFCC with external enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact directly with client stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification.
- Experience working within Big 4 consulting environments or large-scale advisory engagements.
- Experience supporting multi-site and global Commerce Cloud implementations.
