Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with strong Python development skills to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architecture, automation, infrastructure as code, and Python-based application development, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures.
Develop automation scripts and cloud solutions using Python.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and SNS/SQS.
Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.
Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and cloud costs.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot production issues.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform architecture reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Required Skills
Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and backend development.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Strong understanding of networking concepts, VPC, Load Balancers, Route 53, and security groups.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Strong understanding of IAM, security best practices, and cloud governance.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
AWS DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.
Experience with serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.
Knowledge of data services such as DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills..
Education
Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI/ML services on AWS.
Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
