Description:
Engineering Technician
Location: Fargo, ND
Duration: 24 months with possible extension

Job Purpose

Test electronic products to ensure production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Manually test electronic assemblies and document results
Set up lab equipment per engineering instructions
Perform basic equipment and product maintenance

Required Education

Associate's degree in Electronics, two-year technical diploma, equivalent military training, or related experience.

Experience

Required: 1+ year of relevant experience
Preferred: 3+ years of related experience

Required Skills

Effective written and verbal communication
Basic proficiency with PCs, spreadsheets, and word processing
Working knowledge of troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Ability to read schematics and engineering diagrams
Accurate documentation and record-keeping
Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with manufacturing processes and electronic components
Hands-on use of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Background in electronics, electrical work, automotive repair, networking hardware, robotics/automation, or farming equipment
