Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OUD LDAP Administrator to support Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) infrastructure, engineering, and operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Unified Directory administration, LDAP technologies, UNIX scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and directory services.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in LDAP Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
  • Strong knowledge of Directory Services commands.
  • Replication Topology configuration and administration.
  • UNIX Shell Scripting.
  • Oracle Enterprise User Security setup with OUD.
  • OUD Custom Plugins.
  • OUD REST APIs.
  • OUD Performance Tuning and Testing.
  • Custom LDAP reports using complex search filters.
  • OUD Installation, Patching, and Architecture.
  • Directory Schema Modifications.
  • Mass User Updates.
  • Backup and Restore of OUD data.
  • Custom Password Policies.
  • Access Control Instructions (ACIs).
  • Custom Administration Groups and Users.
  • Networking fundamentals including DNS, Load Balancers, OSI Model, and Firewalls.
  • Hardware performance and capacity monitoring.
  • Log analysis, troubleshooting, and issue identification.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for Oracle Unified Directory infrastructure.
  • Perform administration, monitoring, and maintenance of OUD environments.
  • Troubleshoot directory, replication, and authentication issues.
  • Configure and maintain replication topology and directory services.
  • Install, patch, upgrade, and optimize Oracle Unified Directory environments.
  • Perform backup, restore, schema modifications, and mass user updates.
  • Develop and maintain custom LDAP reports, plugins, password policies, and ACIs.
  • Support SWAT activities and incident resolution while meeting SLA requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis by reviewing logs, error messages, and application behavior.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and application teams to resolve production issues.
  • Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning of OUD infrastructure.
