Job Description
A cutting-edge technology company focused on next-generation networking infrastructure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join its simulation team. This team is responsible for building scalable software tools used to simulate, emulate, and optimize large-scale networks in a highly technical, compute-intensive environment.
In this role, you will help maintain and evolve a low-cost, high-fidelity simulation platform that models complex networks with a strong emphasis on performance, accuracy, and visualization. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, and product stakeholders to turn advanced concepts into robust, usable software systems.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with TypeScript and React
Professional experience with Python (open to candidates with strong experience in other programming languages)
Background in data processing and data visualization
Experience with high-performance computing, GPU-based workloads, or large-scale simulations
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical disciplines
Experience building and maintaining complex software systems
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience designing or maintaining scalable platforms
Exposure to scientific computing, distributed systems, or simulation-based software
Experience working with cloud infrastructure
Interest in advanced networking, security, or emerging technologies
6+ years of professional software development experience
What You Will Be Doing
100% hands-on development
Building and maintaining software for network simulation and emulation
Developing tools for data processing, visualization, and analysis
Improving the scalability, performance, and accuracy of simulation platforms
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into software solutions
Contributing to architectural decisions and long-term technical direction
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
