Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with strong MERN stack expertise, AI-assisted development experience, and proven engineering leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will lead engineering teams, drive end-to-end software delivery, modernize enterprise applications, and adopt AI-driven development practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams and manage end-to-end software development and delivery.

  • Drive AI-assisted development using Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and similar tools.

  • Promote Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-driven engineering practices.

  • Drive application modernization using cloud-native architecture, APIs, microservices, and event-driven design.

  • Oversee CI/CD, DevOps, DevSecOps, deployment, and production readiness.

  • Collaborate with Architects, Business, Platform, SRE, and Security teams.

  • Manage delivery timelines, technical risks, dependencies, and engineering quality.

  • Mentor technical leads and developers while promoting engineering excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive software engineering experience.

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or equivalent technical leadership role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and OpenAI Codex.

  • Understanding SDD, AI-driven development, and modern engineering practices.

  • Strong experience in cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and application modernization.

  • Exposure DevOps, DevSecOps, and deployment practices.

  • Knowledge of Kafka, Istio, and Liquibase is preferred.

  • Excellent people with leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
