We're partnering with a busy, well-established automotive repair facility seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity designed for skilled technicians who want to demonstrate their abilities and transition into a long-term career with a company that values quality work, professional growth, and high earning potential.
During the initial contract period, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage. Upon successful hire-on, technicians transition to a flat-rate compensation structure with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings based on productivity and experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles
- Rebuild and repair engines and transmissions
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and wiring issues
- Service and repair automotive HVAC and A/C systems
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivability repairs
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify vehicle issues
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- Strong full-service automotive technician experience
- Ability to perform major mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission work
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
- Knowledge of automotive HVAC and A/C repair
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and longevity
- Must provide your own professional-grade tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits
During Contract Period
- $30.00 - $35.00/hour DOE
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
- Busy shop environment with the opportunity to work additional hours
Upon Direct Hire
- Transition to a flat-rate pay structure

Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (THC excluded from testing)
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
