Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, ML evaluation, distributed systems, and developer infrastructure and a proven ability to design, implement, and maintain tasks, benchmarks, and test suites for Computer Use Agents (CUA) while driving high code quality and reliable deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex, long-running technical workflows end to end, including implementation, validation, documentation, and follow-through.
- Design, build, and maintain tasks, benchmarks, and test suites that measure CUA capability as models, APIs, and infrastructure evolve.
- Apply rigorous testing practices, including unit, integration, and regression tests, and execute deployment strategies such as canary releases and rollbacks.
- Investigate discrepancies across code, configuration, infrastructure, and results to drive reproducible conclusions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience with PyTorch is preferred.
- Strong engineering background with experience in AI model training or evaluation.
- Experience with ML evaluation, distributed systems, developer infrastructure, or large-scale testing.
- Fluency with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, with personal best practices for effective use.
- High standards for code quality with a strong focus on testing, canary releases, rollbacks, and risk management.
- Ability to identify weak or low-quality implementations and provide direct, constructive feedback while receiving the same.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Rust or TypeScript.
- Experience in server-side or infrastructure development for highly available and stable systems.
- Experience maintaining benchmarks or test suites as models, APIs, and infrastructure evolve.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally and translate complex concepts for varied audiences.
- Ownership of open-source projects.
