Business Systems Analyst (Banking) Hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL seeking two experienced Business Systems Analyst professionals to support critical banking applications across Sales & Service and Teller platforms. These roles will partner closely with product owners, stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements within an Agile delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to gather, refine, and document business requirements
* Translate stakeholder discussions into actionable user stories and functional documentation
* Write and refine features, epics, and stories within an Agile framework
* Create detailed business requirements and supporting documentation in Confluence
* Manage and track work items using Jira
* Support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Agile methodologies
* Develop test cases and actively participate in QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Validate solutions meet business needs prior to production release
* Support feature refinement and backlog grooming activities

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
* Banking experience is required
* Strong experience writing business requirements and user stories
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
* Experience supporting UAT and QA testing efforts
* Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies
* Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to work directly with business partners and technical teams

Preferred:
* Experience working with teller applications
* Knowledge of ARGO Teller (strong plus)
* Familiarity with ARGO Sales & Service platforms (web-based, developed in-house)
* General banking operations knowledge (e.g., transaction processing, balancing, sales and service workflows)
* Origination or core banking application experience

Additional Notes:
* Hybrid schedule preferred for Birmingham-based candidates
* Candidates with strong ARGO experience may be considered for more remote flexibility

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
