Summary
- Role: Backend Developer
- Grade: Senior
- Locations: On-site at Cupertino or San Diego - have to be at the office 3 days a week.
- Engagement: 12 months, with possible extension based on business need
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience in Java and Springboot
- Experience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Preferred
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Databases and middleware — Postgres, Kafka, Redis
- Big data stack — data warehousing, MPP, Spark, Flink
- Micro-service architecture and service mesh
- UI development experience
- Kotlin
