We are looking for Mainframe z/OS and IBM LCM Administrator - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Charlotte, NC

Job Title: Mainframe z/OS and IBM LCM Administrator - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

1+ years of experience with IBM LCM.
1+ years of experience with z/OS System Programming / Administration.
1+ years of experience with Mainframe JES3, Operations & Incident Management.

Responsibilities:

Administer Rocket Life Cycle Manager (LCM) across multiple environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
Configure lifecycle processes, workflows, and approval mechanisms.
Maintain application hierarchies, systems, and library structures.
Manage versioning of components and maintain baselines.
Support rollback/backout to previous stable versions.
Create, manage, and promote change packages as deployable units.
Work with security team to implement role based access controls.
Support production migrations, release failures, and package issues.
Excellent understanding of System z architecture.
Excellent experience with IBM z/OS operating system.
Experience in building Mainframe LPAR and OS Upgrades.
Installation of patches and fixes.
System parameters/parmlib maintenance.
Knowledge of managing JES3 subsystem.
Managing incidents on z/OS related issues.
z/OS performance monitoring and reporting.
