IBM BAW Lead Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Lead Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise workflow solutions using the IBM BAW platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM BAW development, production support, and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA). This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly workflow applications integrated with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern UI technologies such as React, Angular, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into workflow solutions.
• Integrate IBM BAW applications with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Build and implement business rules, decision logic, and process automation solutions.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving IBM BAW application issues.
• Optimize workflow processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Work closely with onsite and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and performance tuning activities.
• Follow development best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow (IBM BAW) development.
• Strong experience in IBM BAW Production Support.
• Experience working with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).
• Strong front-end development skills with React, Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience integrating IBM BAW with enterprise applications and web services.
• Strong understanding of workflow automation, business process management (BPM), and process optimization.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading onsite/offshore teams is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain.
• Experience with container platforms and cloud-based deployments.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
