Overview
Seeking a Data Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize SQL Server environments while developing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SQL Server databases
- Manage backups, restores, patching, and performance monitoring
- Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, procedures, and reports
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration
- Troubleshoot database and application issues
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years of SQL Server experience
- Strong SQL Server administration skills
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience
- Strong T-SQL development and query optimization skills
- Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with SQL reporting tools
- Exposure to enterprise automation and infrastructure monitoring solutions
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite weekly)
