Job Description:

Focus: Microsoft Fabric, ETL, and Enterprise Data Warehouse

Role Summary:

  • The Senior Data Engineer owns the design, implementation, and evolution of Company s enterprise data platform. This role is accountable for ETL pipelines, data warehouse and Lakehouse architecture, and enterprise data modeling as Company transitions from an on-premises SQL environment to a modern cloud-based analytics platform.
    Company is in the process of establishing Microsoft Fabric as the future-state data platform. The Senior Data Engineer will define standards, shape architecture, and lead the transition from existing on-premises SQL stored procedures to a scalable, governed analytics environment.
  • This role is critical as Company modernizes its enterprise analytics capabilities, replacing legacy on-premise SQL workflows with a scalable, governed cloud platform that will support future growth, advanced analytics, and self-service BI

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including enterprise data warehouse and analytics platforms
  • Advanced SQL skills with strong analytical and enterprise data modeling experience
  • Experience designing and operating data warehouses, lakes, or Lakehouse architectures in a cloud environment
  • Experience integrating ERP systems, CRM, and SaaS data sources
  • Experience supporting BI tools, including Tableau (phasing out) and Power BI
  • Strong communication skills with technical and business teams
