Summary

Overview

The Full Stack Developer, Senior will provide comprehensive development and operations & maintenance (O&M) support for a mission-critical, production-level Java application featuring a PostgreSQL backend and operating within a Tomcat/JBoss application server environment. This role will work in a dynamic AWS cloud environment, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with system owners to gather, analyze, and define enhancement specifications and requirements based on their input.
  • Participate throughout the entire project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Leverage strong user interface (UI) development skills, with a focus on JavaScript and front-end frameworks, to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • A strong foundation in Computer Science with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in the following technologies and skills:
    • Java (JEE Development): Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience.
    • JavaScript/Ajax: Advanced capabilities in application development with strong front-end proficiency.
    • Angular (Version 14 or later): Minimum of 5 years of experience with modern Angular frameworks.
    • Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA: Expertise in developing robust back-end solutions.
    • Tomcat/JBoss: Proficiency in application server deployment and management.
    • PostgreSQL: Strong experience in database development, management, and optimization.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions
