Role Summary
The Lead Business Systems Analyst will support a complex, enterprise wide Learning Management System initiative that impacts thousands of users across diverse departments and roles. This role is central to ensuring the LMS continues to evolve in alignment with organizational growth, workforce development priorities, and modern learning practices.
Acting as both a strategic partner and hands on contributor, the Lead Business Systems Analyst will guide business analysis efforts, support Agile delivery, and help ensure system enhancements deliver measurable value. The role requires strong leadership, independence, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated, large scale environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business analysis efforts for a mission critical Learning Management System platform
• Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholder groups
• Serve as a Scrum Master and support Agile ceremonies and delivery practices
• Analyze and document business processes, system workflows, and data integrations
• Configure and administer LMS functionality to support expanded learning and reporting needs
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend process and system improvements
• Support user acceptance testing, training activities, and phased system rollouts
• Produce clear, executive ready documentation and presentations
Key Requirements
• Five or more years of experience as a lead business systems analyst on complex, enterprise technology initiatives
• Three or more years of hands on experience administering Cornerstone OnDemand, including advanced reporting, dashboards, feeds, configurations, and security roles
• Three or more years of experience working in Agile project environments
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, information technology, or a related field
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business and technical process mapping, and systems analysis
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and project planning tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive and technical audiences
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple initiatives independently
