Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead multiple large, complex enterprise-level programs. This role is responsible for developing program strategy, overseeing cross-functional execution, managing budgets and risks, ensuring governance compliance, and driving successful program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and manage multiple large, complex enterprise programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to minimize delays and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
- Identify and analyze target audiences and their specific program needs.
- Develop program strategy, supporting business cases, and define major deliverables and timelines.
- Create high-level program plans to guide detailed planning across program components.
- Lead program management teams by establishing direction, identifying interdependencies, tracking progress, resolving conflicts, and making decisions.
- Assign and manage staff, contractors, and consultants to maximize program effectiveness.
- Direct and coordinate program implementation to achieve established objectives.
- Establish and monitor operational, outcome, process, and financial performance metrics.
- Document and present program results through reports, studies, presentations, and publications.
- Monitor program execution and adjust plans as needed to maintain milestones and deliverables.
- Resolve program issues, risks, and changes within agreed decision-making authority.
- Develop and maintain risk management plans to identify, quantify, and mitigate program risks.
- Evaluate programs to ensure achievement of program goals.
- Identify evolving program needs and direct appropriate strategic and delivery adjustments.
- Develop and manage program budgets in accordance with approved funding plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational governance requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate, administer, and monitor program contracts to ensure service level agreements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree or advanced degree (where required).
- 12+ years of experience in a related field.
