Manager of Enterprise Architecture
Summary
The Manager of Enterprise Architecture leads the strategic design, governance, and modernization of Miniat's IT landscape, aligning information and technology investments with business objectives. This role will enable and enhance Enterprise Architecture practices throughout the organization, partnering with the CIO on the strategic IT roadmap, and engaging with business functions in governing the demand for solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, blueprints, and multi-year roadmaps to support business strategy.
- Establish architecture review practices and reviews to ensure compliance with standards for security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to oversee the transition from current systems to modern applications and architectures, such as cloud-native (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), microservices, and AI agents.
- Collaborate across IT and business functions to ensure technology decisions drive enterprise outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO and senior leaders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Establish and maintain documents and standards using a common framework such as TOGAF for an inventory of applications and services.
Requirements
- Experience: 8 10+ years in IT, with significant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or consulting.
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Business experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, application design, API strategies, data management, and information security principles.
- Frameworks: Proficiency with architectural frameworks like TOGAF.
- Industries: Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments. Food & beverage or other consumer products experience is a plus.
